Rumors and leaked images are circulating online just one day before Apple's scheduled product presentation, purportedly showing the company's first foldable device, which some outlets are calling the "iPhone Duo."
According to a report from French tech site Frandroid, the images were published on Tuesday, September 8, ahead of Apple's keynote. The publication did not provide details on the source of the images or the device's specifications, but the headline indicates the leak shows the device in full.
The leak comes amid a flurry of reports about Apple's foldable plans. Other French outlets, including Linternaute.com and Mac4Ever, have also published related stories. Linternaute reports that Apple may have altered its strategy for its first foldable, potentially branding it as the "iPhone Ultra" rather than a Duo model. Mac4Ever notes that accessory maker ESR has also showcased a foldable iPhone design prior to the official announcement, suggesting the accessory industry is preparing for the new form factor.
